Legit Kits patterns are detailed art quilts made using Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP). Taking a class helps you learn how to organize fabrics, approach their unique "block method", and sew with no curves.
Jocelyn Marchuk will be travelling from Bowan Manitoba to teach her 2EZ method and will show us how to get started and work thru the pattern of your choice. Information on her method will be shared in class and class instruction includes her favorite tools for staying organized.

Each participant will be provided with their own table to set up your workstation with your sewing machine, pressing station and small cutting mat
Materials you will need for your work station include
Sewing machine with size 70 needle
Small cutting mat and rotary cutter
SMALL travel iron ONLY with steam capabilities which needs to be on a separate table beside your sewing table as we cannot have irons on the table (low wattage due to power limitations)
A small side table for your pressing station
Wool mat for your pressing Station 10”square
Sewing pins and sewing clips
1 add-a-quarter ruler or add-a-quarter PLUS
Thread Deco-bob 80 weight for top/bottom threads
LEGIT kits Pattern of your choice purchased from PKQ
Fabric Kit to make your art quilt as per pattern

3 Nights Accommodation in YOUR CHOICE of ROOM as follows
Sunnyside Lodge - MOTEL LIKE room shared with one other guest. Each has a separate bedroom and adjoining shared bathroom Bedding and towels provided
Aspen Lodge - DORM STYLE - shared room in a dorm like situation - 2-4 per unit with one shared Bath. Great for a few friends and still lots of room. Bring your own bedding and towels
BY signing up for retreat you agree to follow all rules at the facility including
